“Jump” by J Balvin and Amber Mark.  It’s Coca-Cola’s New FIFA World Cup Anthem

“Jump,” the pop hit by supergroup Van Halen that reached number 1 on the Hot 100 in 1984, is now a cover fused with urban, R&B, and rock sounds, and is Coca-Cola’s new anthem.

Coca-Cola has released its new anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup: a reimagined version of Van Halen’s iconic 1980s hit, “Jump,” performed by superstar J Balvin and acclaimed R&B/hip-hop singer-songwriter Amber Mark, along with legendary guitarist Steve Vai and drummer and producer Travis Barker of Blink-182.

The song was released through Real Thing Records and Capitol Records.

Along with the single’s release, the official music video for “Jump,” with art direction and design by McFlyy, debuted on the giant screens of Paramount in Times Square.

This groundbreaking collaboration reimagines the iconic rock anthem with a vibrant and stylized perspective, featuring animations by J Balvin, Amber Mark, Steve Vai, and Travis Barker. The video also includes a special animated appearance by soccer star Lamine Yamal.

Released in conjunction with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the track celebrates the full spectrum of emotions that define the tournament—from euphoria to profound sadness—and the shared passion that unites fans around the world.

Coca-Cola has been an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup since 1978.

“For me, music has always been about bringing people from different countries and cultures together, and ‘Jump’ is precisely about that shared energy,” says J Balvin in the press release.  “Collaborating with Coca-Cola on the 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem was a natural fit: it’s about emotion, energy, and creating something authentic. This song celebrates life and the present moment.”

“Van Halen’s ‘Jump’ is one of those exceptional songs that transcends generations, so approaching it was with a lot of respect,” says Amber Mark. “Being able to honor the original while giving it a modern perspective was incredibly special. I’m excited to be part of a track that connects the past and present in such an inspiring and powerful way, and I hope fans feel that energy for many years to come.”

Van Halen’s “Jump” reached number 1 in 1984. In 2021, Rolling Stone magazine ranked “Jump” number 177 on its list of the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time.”

J Balvin’s next two dates are in Colombia: March 21 in Cali and March 28 in Pereira.  Presented by DG and Stage Events.
