Swedish House Mafia will return to Ultra Miami this year with a very special takeover

Update 25/03/2026: This story has been updated following an official announcement from Swedish House Mafia and Ultra, confirming their Saturday night takeover.

The trio will take over the festival’s Main Stage on Saturday, March 28th, when Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso were originally scheduled to play a headline b2b. Instead, they will be joined by a star-studded cast of artists – Afrojack, Armand Van Helden, Boys Noize, Kelly Lee Owens and MPH. The “festival within a festival” will culminate with Axwell joining Angello and Ingrosso for a Swedish House Mafia set.

Rumours initially erupted today (25th March) after a post was shared to Ultra’s Instagram account depicting a “peeking eye” emoji covering its face. The only other element attached to the unusual post is an audio snippet of Swedish House Mafia’s 2011 hit ‘Save The World’.

Comments under the post immediately had excited fans hoping for the return of the trio of Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell to the Ultra stage. The last time they played the festival together was in 2023, which followed their surprise post-hiatus reunion set in 2018, which had closed the event out. Prior to that, their last performance together had been at Ultra 2013.

Opening night boasts a stacked line-up, including headline sets from Major Lazer on the Main Stage, Armin Van Buuren on the Worldwide Stage, preceded by his b2b with Marlon Hoffstadt, Eric Prydz on the Megastructure, and Sara Landry on The Cove stage.

Meanwhile, Friday on the Live Stage will feature sets from Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, and more ahead of a closing performance from Levity presents Lasership. Other first day highlights include DJ sets from Miss Monique straight into Vintage Culture on the Megastructure stage from 7PM-10PM, and Lilly Palmer on the Worldwide Stage.

On Saturday, 28th March, the Main Stage will feature sets from Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Excision, Steve Aoki, Nicky Romero, and many more, including, hopefully, Swedish House Mafia.

Over on the Worldwide Stage, key sets will come from Bou, Hamdi and ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U ahead of headliner ISOxo, while Carl Cox will close the Megastructure on Saturday, following huge b2b sets from Adam Beyer and Joseph Capriati, Alan Fitzpatrick and Marco Faraone, and Sasha & John Digweed.

Finally, the weekend will conclude on Sunday with John Summit headlining the Main Stage, joined by DJ Snake, Afrojack, and Marlon Hoffstadt. Meanwhile, The Martinez Brothers are set to close out the RESISTANCE Cove Stage, which also features a huge b2b set from Dennis Cruz and Seth Troxler.

Other artists performing on Sunday include Andy C, Boris Brejcha, Rossi., DJ Gigola, Maddix, X CLUB., and more.

Tickets have almost sold out, but the remaining general admission can be found here. Keep an eye on the official Ultra Music Festival YouTube channel for the festival live stream.

Just a few days ago, it was announced that the RESISTANCE Cove Stage at Ultra Miami would be running entirely on zero-emission battery power.

Ultra Miami was recently voted No. 2 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals poll 2025.
