El Binomio de Oro de America Anticipates a New Studio Album and Presents ‘Ay Mi Valle,’ Their Own Tribute to the Vallenato Festival
This is the first single from the new album by the ‘Binomio,’ who, along with Rafael Orozco and Israel Romero, will be the featured artist at the next edition of the Vallenato Legend Festival in Valledupar.
As a prelude to their new studio album, which will be released in May of this year, El Binomio de Oro de America presents ‘Ay Mi Valle,’ composed by Efraín ‘El Mono’ Quintero Molina, renowned folklorist and recent winner of the National Vallenato Music Festival of San Juan (Guajira), and Israel Romero. The song is an evocation of the magic of the Festival and of Valledupar, in the rhythm of ‘pasón’ (a combination of paseo and son), bearing the indelible signature of the accordion and the voice of ‘Pollo Isra’ alongside that of his son, Israel David Romero.
This new album marks the return of the Binomio de Oro de América to their record label, CODISCOS, with which they achieved numerous successes throughout their career.
2026 is a year of great celebrations for the Binomio de Oro de América: they will be honored at the Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata alongside Israel Romero and Rafael Orozco, and they will also release a new full-length album with their record label, CODISCOS.
