At 50, Felipe Peláez is experiencing one of the best moments of his career. His next show will be on April 17th at the spectacular Arena USC in Cali, Colombia, one of the top 10 theaters in Latin America by 2025.
Two vallenato icons, Felipe Peláez and Iván Ovalle, joined their voices to present the concept video for their latest collaboration, “Cualquier momento es preciso para amar” (Any Moment Is Right for Love), a new version of the emblematic song popularized in 1992 by Binomio de Oro, featuring the voices of Rafael Orozco and Israel Romero.
The production, now available on both artists’ YouTube channels, reinterprets this classic that has transcended generations, maintaining its romantic essence and adapting it to a contemporary approach that seeks to connect with new audiences.
Felipe Peláez emphasized that this release represents a tribute to the history of vallenato. “We are excited to present this new version of a vallenato classic. It is an honor to pay tribute to the legend of Rafael Orozco and El Binomio de Oro, and we hope that fans enjoy this collaboration as much as we do,” he stated.
