January/March 2026: The 10 Best Salsa Songs

The editors of Made Of Music Latino in Spain, Colombia, and the United States ranked the 10 best salsa songs of the first quarter of the year.

The list includes veteran names like Marc Anthony and Grupo Niche, as well as promising new artists who are breathing new life into the genre.

With 2026 approaching, it’s worth remembering that the editors of Billboard Latin and Billboard Español predicted some of the trends expected to emerge in the Latin music scene this year. Their analysis shows significant growth for salsa, similar to what happened last year.

Billboard said that while salsa is far from disappearing, artists like Christian Alicea and Luis Figueroa are giving it a new boost, leading a wave of reggaeton artists to experiment with the genre, including Bad Bunny with “Baile Inolvidable,” Rauw Alejandro with his version of Frankie Ruiz’s “Tú Con El,” and J Balvin’s “Misterio” in collaboration with salsa icon Gilberto Santa Rosa.

This is the list of the 10 best salsa songs of the first quarter according to Made Of Music Latino U.S.A. and Made Of Music Latino Spain.
