Katy Perry denies actress Ruby Rose’s sexual assault allegations

Katy Perry denies sexually assaulting actress Ruby Rose, of the series “Orange Is the New Black,” at an Australian nightclub nearly 20 years ago.

In a statement released Monday, a representative for Katy Perry (41) asserted that Ruby Rose’s allegations “are not only categorically false, but dangerous and reckless lies. Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public accusations on social media against various individuals, claims that have been repeatedly denied by those involved.”

Ruby Rose (40), whose screen credits also include the series “Batwoman” and “John Wick: Chapter 2,” publicly accused Katy Perry of sexual assault in a series of posts on Threads Sunday night.

“He didn’t kiss me. He saw me resting my head on my best friend’s lap, bent down, pulled her underwear aside, and rubbed his disgusting vagina all over my face until I opened my eyes wide and threw up all over her. I told the story publicly, but I made it out to be a ‘funny drunk anecdote’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it.”

Katy Perry dated Orlando Bloom and is currently in a relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The two were seen together at Justin Bieber’s Coachella concert.
